Coach Eros Sanchez

Eros Sanchez is considered one of the nation’s preeminent quarterbacks coach, having had great success as a private coach and instructor for some of the finest quarterbacks at the professional, college and high school levels. Sanchez has become the “go-to guy” in southern Louisiana and the surrounding region. Sanchez’s tremendous track record at educating and training QB’s at all levels has not gone unnoticed. He has been a mainstay for years at many of the Elite quarterback camps, and college showcases around the country.

Sanchez’s many quarterback clients have included NFL quarterbacks: Patrick Mahommes, Carson Wentz, Baker Mayfield, Sam Bradford, Chase Daniel, Zach Mettenberger, A.J.McCarron, Tanner Lee, McLeod Bethel-Thompson and many others. Sanchez has worked with Super Bowl MVP’s, Heisman Trophy winners, college All-Americans, elite high school athletes, and middle schoolers. Coach Sanchez’s background

Coach E is a native of Brooklyn N.Y., where he attended Christ the King High School, leading the Royals to two city championships. In 1985, Sanchez was the New York City H.S. Player of the Year after leading the state in passing yards and total offense. Collegiality, he was a two-year starter for Head Coach Frank Beamer at Virginia Tech University. Sanchez was a two-time Academic award winner for the Hokies and after retiring from professional football, he obtained a Medical Doctorate from St. Matthew’s School of Medicine.

At a time when Hispanic-American professional quarterbacks were extremely rare, Sanchez signed a free agent contract with the Canadian Football league. Sanchez played for two years with the Hamilton Tiger Cats of the Canadian Football League (1992-1994), and the Shreveport Pirates of the Canadian Football League (1994-1995). Sanchez also played for the Barcelona Howlers (Barcelona, Spain) winning three European Championships and three most valuable player awards. Sanchez founded what is now called Quarterback University and 34 years later he remains faithful to building a program focused on the essentials of both the physical and mental aspects of becoming a successful quarterback.
